Solid Rock statement on land rights Goanna had previously released an EP through EMI Music but was without a record deal. The buzz of the James Taylor tour attracted major label attention, and Goanna signed with Warner Music offshoot WEA Australia in February before heading into the studio to start work on their debut album Spirit Of Place.
